Ilonggos are enjoying the growth of 24-hour convenience stores that seem to sprout in just about every corner of the city.  People who are always on the go and who work the graveyard shift are simply happy to have new places to go to in order to have a quick snack, purchase basic necessities or simply hang around with friends.

Now, they have even more reason to be jolly with the opening of the newest convenience store chain in the market, Ministop.  Ministop is a subsidiary of Robinsons Retail Holdings, Inc., and franchise of Ministop Co. Ltd, one of the largest convenience store chains in Japan.  Last July 24, two of its branches opened here in Iloilo City.  They are located at Robinsons Place and beside Iloilo National High School in La Paz.

Ministop carries a wide assortment of affordable groceries and ready-to-eat products such as Uncle John's Fried Chicken, Kariman, Chillz, rice toppers, soft serve ice cream, dimsum, sandwiches, pastas, pastries, salads and cakes.

What sets apart Ministop from its competitors is the presence of its in-house kitchen facility so consumers are assured of freshly made products 24/7.

Ministop Stores are strategically positioned at prime locations with over 400 branches in Metro Manila, Luzon & Visayas…..and growing.  It is currently ranked as the second largest convenience store chain in the country both in terms of store count and system wide sales.

It is open for franchise, setting a goal of 100 new stores this year. It has an efficient and time-proven business system, as well as a huge distribution center. Their franchising partners are assured that stocks will be available anytime to keep up with the demands of the ready-to-eat and grocery industry.

  1. Convenience stores have stable revenue streams because of the nature of their business. People stop by these stores because they are convenient, having what they need to get through their day. Many locations offer gasoline for sale as well, along with propane or kerosene, which generates more local economic activity.Truforte Business Group
